In a recent appearance on Fox News, DLC Chair Harold Ford effectively agreed with Hannity that attendees of the progressive YearlyKos conference are the Democratic Party's "extreme base."
Ford went on to say that if he'd attended the conference, he would have told the progressive audience:
"I think you’re wrong the way you go about practicing your politics. If you’re serious about winning the war and bringing the country together, get another message and another set of tactics."
Going on Fox News to attack YearlyKos (and Daily Kos too) is apparently how Harold Ford prepares for his upcoming debate with Markos on Meet the Press.
Markos responds:
"Fox News Democrat Harold Ford goes on Fox News to attack this site and YearlyKos. This is what the DLC has been reduced to -- going on Fox News to attack Democrats and being forced to debate a guy who 'wasn't respectable 3 or 4 years ago' in a bid to justify their organization's existence."
