There should be no contest for the March 13 special election for the District 30 state Senate seat. As the Memphis Commercial Appeal points out, Beverly Marrero's opponent is a conservative running in a progressive district.
Beverly Marrero has a well-documented record that should make any progressive proud to vote for her. We expect Ms. Marrero to wipe the floor with her conservative opponent.
The only thing that could prevent a Marrero win is the failure of Democrats to get out and vote. If you're in the Memphis area, don't forget to get out and vote for Beverly on the 13th! She deserves to win by a landslide!
