Sen. Lamar Alexander Warns: Multiculturalism is Eroding "Our Common American Culture"

In more words than you would think anyone with an important job to do would ever waste on the subject of singing and reciting, Sen. Lamar Alexander has resolved that WE the PEOPLE should do all our important singing and reciting in ENGLISH ONLY.
It was hard wading through the Senator's endless verbiage, but I managed to stick with it until I found a reason why the people of the free world need leaders to tell them what language they are free to sing and recite in. Are you ready for it?
We must sing the national anthem in English Only because when we sing the anthem in another language: "It adds to the celebration of multiculturalism in our society which has eroded our understanding of our common American culture."
In other words, our common American culture is under attack by multiculturalism!
But there is a better reason, and I'm surprised the Senator from Tennessee did not think to mention it. We must not sing outside the English language because of one of the Unalterable Laws of Republicanism:
One language good. Two languages bad.
The Senator from Tennessee goes on to explain that it's bad to "add to the celebration of multiculturalism," or sing outside the English language "precisely because our nation is a nation of immigrants."
The Senator from the educationally deprived part of the country adds ominously, never before has it (the anthem) been rendered in another language.
Oooh, scary. If Lamar had only wandered outside his English Only senatorial circle, he might have learned that people have been singing the anthem in Spanish (and German too) as far back as 1919.
But never mind all that. What I want to know is how can I get a bootleg copy of the Pledge in French?
