Tell Stephen Colbert 'Thank You'
Go tell Stephen Colbert, thank you, over at Thank You Stephen Colbert. Be sure to stop and read some of the awesome comments.
While the MSM continue to pretend that Colbert wasn't really there , or Colbert didn't really say that, [gasp], or Colbert bombed, the man who somehow did not get screened out of the room, the man who stood up and told the truth in the presence of the Bushies and the MSM, is somehow stuck at the number one and number two positions over at Technorati.
In other words, the MSM are inside the bubble with George. And both are determined to dominate or control the conversation that WE the PEOPLE are having - even when it means they must ignore reality. As America's bravest man, Stephen Colbert pointed out, reality has a liberal bias.
As if to illustrate the truth that Colbert told, Google news searches reveal that the most important news story about Colbert at the White House Correspondents' dinner is that the MSM are ignoring it.
Go say Thank You Stephen Colbert.
Colbert to MSM:
"Over the last five years you people were so good over tax cuts, W.M.D. intelligence, the effect of global warming. We Americans didn't want to know, and you had the courtesy not to try to find out. Those were good times, as far as we knew. But, listen, let's review the rules. Here's how it works. The President makes decisions, he's the decider. The Press Secretary announces those decisions, and you people of the press type those decisions down. Make, announce, type. Put them through a spell check and go home. Get to know your family again. Make love to your wife. Write that novel you got kicking around in your head. You know, the one about the intrepid Washington reporter with the courage to stand up to the administration. You know, fiction." --Stephen Colbert, 2006 White House Correspondents' Association Dinner
