Abortion Ban Goes to House Committee This Week!
The constitutional amendment which would outlaw abortion in this state will be debated on Wednesday, April 12 at 11:00 am in the House Public Health and Family Assistance Subcommittee in Room 31 of Legislative Plaza.
Please tell members of the Subcommittee to VOTE NO ON SJR 127!
This is the abortion ban that passed on the Senate floor with a vote of 24-9. The House Subcommittee members need to hear from you on Monday, and it is extremely important for the committee hearing room to be packed on Wednesday with pro choice people. Wear your pro choice buttons!
SJR 127 is as bad as an abortion ban can possibly get. There are no exceptions permitted for rape, incest, or threats to women's lives!
