Dick Cheney is bringing some of his magic dust to Tennessee. The Vice will speak at a University of Tennessee event this Tuesday. We're sure lots of TN Republicans will be on hand for a little of the Cheney unpopularity magic dust.
"Security will be tight, but the public is invited to attend the event at 11:00 a.m."
A recent poll found that a staggering 19% of the public approve of the Cheney Monster's job performance.
As if that's not bad enough, most Americans believe Cheney is a crook.
The latest Newsweek poll finds that 52% of Americans believe "Dick Cheney was part of a cover-up to try to prevent the special prosecutor from getting to the truth about who leaked CIA agent Valerie Plame's name."
Twenty-six percent of all Americans are satisfied with the way the country is going.
With most Americans believing that Cheney is a crook, we think the Vice is lucky to get invited anywhere. Kudos to Tennessee Republicans for standing by their man. We'll be sure to watch for all the great photos of Tennessee Republicans hanging with the crooked Vice.
