TennCare Protest: Doctors & Nurses Join Sit-In - Day # 9

Medical experts have joined the sit-in inside the state Capitol. They join with the TennCare enrolles and advocates who have occupied the Capitol for nine days now.

Listen to the people Governor Bredesen!

Don’t use your TennCare meat cleaver on hundreds of thousands of sick, elderly, disabled and poor people.

Some of them will die.

Governor Bredesen, it's called immoral behavior.

“The healthcare professionals talked about the personal impact the loss of coverage will have on many of their sick patients.

"The brave people who have occupied the governor’s office are fighting for their human rights. They’re fighting for their very lives.

They’re fighting for their neighbors, and that includes all of us,” said John Lozier of the group Healthcare for the Homeless.

The protestors have asked Governor Bredesen to resume talks with them in a public forum by Thursday."
