Gov. Bredesen Insists On 'Closed Door' Meeting: Occupation Day #3

Update: Bredesen's preference for a closed door meeting is so strong that he cancelled this morning's meeting when protesters continued to insist on an open door meeting.

What's Bredesen got to hide?

The Governor's meeting with TennCare protesters was set to begin at 10:30 this morning. Despite the protesters' requests for an open meeting, Bredesen insisted that he preferred a closed door meeting.

More news from MSM:

Yesterday morning, [protesters] were joined by two dozen clergy members who came to show support. And last night, dozens of people gathered outside the Capitol to show their support.

Yesterday, the Governor paid an unannounced visit to protesters. Among other things, Governor Bredesen told the people who are fighting to save TennCare:

“I’m not interested in being a prop for some big media event.”
