Cruelty Inside the Governor’s Office: Occupation day #2

After being denied food and water throughout the night, the sick and frail protesters who occupy the Governor’s office continued to be denied food and water this morning.

Sharon Cobb reports:

"I just got off the phone with Lori Smith, who spent the night inside the Capitol. Lori has lupus and MS, and had surgery last week. When the Capitol opened this morning, State Troopers would NOT allow food and water to be brought in to the protesters. However, state employees freely drank and ate in front of the protesters.

A doctor ordered Lori Smith to leave, and she almost had to be carried out--severely dehydrated. Lori could not believe the state employees were drinking and eating in front of her while being denied water herself."
