Mighty Macs is the story of the bad old blatantly sexist days before Title IX when gender apartheid mandated that girls and women be denied the right to participate in sports. The Patriarchy liked its girls small and weak, obviously it still does but Title IX represents one of the more serious cracks in the Patriarchy.Movies about women's oppression raise feminist consciousness, which is exactly why there are so very few movies on the subject of women's oppression.
