Is Bush An Alien?
Is Bush human? Here he is again in another one of those eerily hypnotic and oh-so-carefully scripted presidential dayglow moments. I dunno. Maybe it's the make-up, but this guy seriously resembles an alien.
In the first photo, we have the alleged human and president addressing the nation in the aftermath of his disastrous Iraq War 'mistakes.' Bush will save Iraq and make you safe! Everything will be just fine. Now go back to sleep in front of your tele-visions.
In the second photo, we have the alleged human and president addressing the nation in the aftermath of his disastrous Hurricane Katrina 'mistakes.' Bush will rebuild New Orleans! Everything will be just fine. Now go back to sleep in front of your tele-visions.
If this guy is an alien sent here to put earth into destruct mode, everything is definitely going according to plan! Sleep at your own peril.
Bush Speech: "[W]e must expect more Iraqi and American casualties . . . We go forward with trust that the Author of Liberty will guide us through these trying hours. Thank you and good night."
New York Times: "President Bush told Americans last night that failure in Iraq would be a disaster. The disaster is Mr. Bush’s war, and he has already failed. Last night was his chance to stop offering more fog and be honest with the nation, and he did not take it. . . There is nothing ahead but even greater disaster in Iraq."
Fineman at Newsweek: "George W. Bush spoke with all the confidence of a perp in a police lineup. . . With his knitted brow and stricken features, he looked, well, scared. . . Bush's political problem is not so much that he has lied to the American people—though he may well have done so—but that he seems for years to have been lying to himself."
AP: "The buildup puts Bush on a collision course with the new Democratic Congress and pushes the American troop presence in Iraq toward its highest level. It also runs counter to widespread anti-war passions among Americans and the advice of some top generals."
WaPo: "President Bush's plan to send tens of thousands of U.S. and Iraqi reinforcements to Baghdad to jointly confront Sunni insurgents and Shiite militias is likely to touch off a more dangerous phase of the war, featuring months of fighting in the streets of the Iraqi capital, current and former military officials warned."
"This, after all, is the same president who lost the popular vote in 2000, was installed in the White House by a 5-to-4 vote of the Supreme Court and then governed as if he had won by a landslide. And this is the same president who, after winning re-election in 2004, famously told reporters that he had 'earned capital in the campaign, political capital, and now I intend to spend it.'"
