Maliki: Bushies Embolden Terrorists

Would someone please tell Condi Rice to stop emboldening the terrorists? Heh. Maliki does just that in this update: "I would advise Condoleezza Rice to avoid statements that may aid terrorists." [via]

According to Prime Minister Maliki, criticism of the Iraqi Government by the Bush Administration emboldens terrorists.

In the words of Maliki: "I believe that such statements give moral boosts to the terrorists and push them towards making an extra effort."

Welcome to the Terrorist Embolders Club, Bushie!

Obviously Maliki has been paying attention to how democracy works in the USA, where criticism of the Bush Regime is routinely denounced as unpatriotic speech that comforts and emboldens the enemy.

Maliki also said that he wouldn't need American troops for much longer if he could just have more guns. Now there's a plan: more guns. But with Bush as his mentor, how can Maliki possibly succeed at anything?

The Times-UK:

Robert Gates, the new US Defence Secretary, said that Mr al-Maliki could lose his job if he failed to stop communal bloodshed and Condoleezza Rice, the Secretary of State, gave a warning that he was living on "borrowed time" and that American patience was running out.

Challenged on the point, Mr al-Maliki remarked acidly: "Certain officials are going through a crisis. Secretary Rice is expressing her own point of view if she thinks that the Government is on borrowed time, whether it is borrowed time for the Iraqi Government or American Administration. I don’t think we are on borrowed time."

"I believe that such statements give moral boosts to the terrorists and push them towards making an extra effort and making them believe that they have defeated the American Administration, but I can tell you that they haven’t defeated the Iraqi Government." [via ]
