Hugo Chavez Calls Bush 'the Devil'

During his speech at the U.N. this morning, Hugo Chavez referred to George W. Bush as "the devil." Bush was at the U.N. yesterday, and Chavez said the place still reeked of sulpher.

Now why in the world would anyone call our dear leader the devil?

Perhaps my shocked and awed eyes were deceiving me, but Hugo Chavez should have received a standing ovation.

Perhaps I should rephrase the question: Why in the world would the world view Bush as the devil?

When the devil made his speech yesterday, he was just lucky no one threw tomatoes.

Chavez also said that Bush needs to see a shrink . Here's hoping the Republican Party will learn a lesson and make that a requirement before nominating another presidential candidate.

Venezuelan President --
Hugo Chavez called President Bush "the devil"
during his address to the U.N. General Assembly Wednesday.

"The devil came here yesterday" Chavez said, gesturing to where he was standing at the podium. "He came here talking as if he were the owner of the world."

He later said he was referring to President Bush when he spoke of the devil

Chavez began his address by brandishing a Noam Chomsky paperback, urging the assembly to read the American leftist's ruminations on Washington.

CNN reports that the White House says, the pResident is not watching, the pResident is not listening.
