After the Department of Homeland Insecurity declared that New York City has no national landmarks and icons, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY) and Congressman Peter T. King (R-NY) began sending Michael Chertoff some simple easy-to-understand picture postcards.
Since New York City has no national monuments or icons, it will have its anti-terror funds slashed by 40 percent.
I see three possible explanations.
1) Our Government is run by friggin' morons.
2) Osama bin Laden is in charge of Homeland Security.
3) We have all been dreaming the same nightmare ever since November, 2000.
The residents of Washington, D.C. were also stunned to discover that D.C. is deemed to be a "low risk" site. Cause Osama has no interest in the White House, the Capitol, or FBI headquarters, not when he can attack Montana, Hawaii, Utah, and Rhode Island! Each of these states is deemed to at a higher risk of a terrorist attack than the nation's capital.

You can join the effort to educate your Department of Homeland Security by sending simple postcards with pictures of: the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Brooklyn Bridge, Times Square, Broadway, the Guggenheim, New York Stock Exchange, United Nations, Rockefeller Center, etcetera.
Or you can curl up in the fetal position.
It might be just as effective.
